Work with emerging service and distributed computing technologies for satellite situational awareness data processing and distribution as a member of our systems integration teams supporting our DoD and IC clients. Participate in integration and test efforts for innovative virtualized infrastructure deployments.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field
Broad system engineering experience required to include: requirements analysis, integration, and testing. Experience working with Linux-based operating systems, virtualization technologies, scripting languages for task automation, and system configuration automation software (Puppet, Chef, Ansible, etc..) System integration and testing, and system configuration of networked services, file systems, and authentication experience. Excellent oral and written communications skills. Requires knowledge of Jira requirements management tool as well as efficiency on Microsoft Windows office products such as Powerpoint, Excel, and Word. Government contractor experience with the requirements management and testing processes of Government programs required.
Familiarity with current IC systems and associated policies/procedures is desired, with an emphasis on requirements management, test planning and test procedure development and execution. Experience with satellite ground or aerospace systems. Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g. OpenStack, Citrix XenServer Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization, and/or VMWare), Docker Containers, Ansible, and Heat templates. Experience with front end processing and network gateway appliances and /or software. Experience working in a customer environment and/or a classified environment.
