  • Overview

    Execute Quality Assurance (QA) activities by evaluating processes and products for quality in a CMMI environment.  Develop, maintain, and execute project QA plans. Perform reviews and process audits, assist projects in resolution of non-compliances, and report on status.  Collect, analyze, and report on quality measures and trends.  Perform lessons learned sessions and participate in management reviews.  Additionally, architect, design, and implement CMMI Level 3 compliant processes for areas such as system and software requirements analysis, testing and management activities.

    Qualifications

    Education:

    Bachelors in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.

     

    Required Skills:

    Experience in the full SW lifecycle execution in order to develop documentation for specific process areas. Experience executing a variety of SW lifecycles (waterfall, spiral, agile, etc.) and deliverables (end-user driven software deliveries, prototypes, demonstrations, etc.)  Knowledge of the CMMI models and experience executing CMMI compliant processes.  Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Project, and Visio.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong organizational skills.

     

    Desired Skills:

    Experience developing processes, documentation and training for compliance with the CMMI.  Experience with CMMI Assessments or Appraisals.  Experience working as a software quality assurance engineer or in a related discipline.  Familiarity with requirements management, integration and testing, configuration management, peer reviews, design, quality assurance, and measurement & analysis.
