Participate as a team member providing business financial support to Solers program managers on Government projects in the system development arena, specifically with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS). Responsible for preparing and managing Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and associated budgets, providing inputs to project plans, tracking and reporting on program funds, collecting metrics, and supporting proposal efforts. Manages completion of work within the time frame specified by the government, ensuring that all financial requirements are met. Prepares milestone status reports and presentations for colleagues, subordinates, and end user representatives. Supports PM preparation and participates in Integrated Baseline Reviews. Project vary in size and duration.
Bachelors' degree in Business Administration or a related field. Alternatively, an Associates degree in a related field with five (5) years of experience preferred.
Provides meticulous financial management, progress status, and project financial tracking. Develops, maintains, and reports on project financial information using Deltek MPM/Cobra and Microsoft Excel. Requires deep understanding of DoD financial system and contracts, fundamentals of accounting, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook), and document preparation and file management skills to include generation of Contractor Performance Reports (CPRs) for monthly financial reporting. Management of Excel spreadsheet templates and development of new templates using Macros, Visual Basic, etc. Must currently have experience with EVMS tools, at a minimum Deltek MPM or Cobra.
Familiarity with Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI) requirements and processes. Experience with EVMS on Agile development projects. MS Project scheduling, Earned Value Management reporting, Work Plan development and Cost Analysis and Projections. Understanding and development of Microsoft Excel Macros.
Must have an active Top Secret security clearance
