Contract Administrator

The Contract Administrator shall have comprehensive responsibility for the administration of federal government contracts. The Contract Administrator will be a highly visible member of a small team responsible for preparing and administering contracts, subcontracts, modifications, teaming agreements, nondisclosure agreements, and related documents and activities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Actively manage Solers’ contractual relationships, to include prime contract, subcontracts, non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements, etc…
  • Communicate directly with contracting personnel at government agencies and commercial firms.
  • Interact with personnel at all organizational levels.
  • Develop cost/price proposals in response to customer requirements, including working with the subcontract administrators to procure subcontractor pricing.
  • Work with and provide guidance to internal stakeholders, including Finance and Program Management personnel to help ensure compliance with all contractual requirements.
  • Update corporate accounting system to incorporate applicable financial terms and conditions.
  • Prepare internal contract reports for Program Managers.
  • Solicit and evaluate proposals/quotations from subcontractors/vendors/teaming partners and negotiate favorable prices/rates and terms for Solers.



Bachelors' Degree


Required Skills:

  • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant federal government contracts administration experience.
  • Detailed knowledge and experience with all contract types (Cost Plus, FFP, T&M, etc…)
  • Cost proposal and pricing experience for large proposals with multiple team members.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • The ability to perform effectively within aggressive deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of federal procurement regulations.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Active security clearance or the ability to obtain a clearance.
  • Strong analytical and financial skills.
  • Ability to independently negotiate contractual terms and conditions.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and Deltek Costpoint
