Work with emerging service and distributed computing technologies for satellite situational awareness data processing and distribution as a member of our software development/systems integration teams supporting our DoD and IC clients. Participate in software and algorithm design, development, and integration efforts. Develop, install and configure software components or algorithms in a virtualized environment/framework.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
Experience working with Unix-based operating systems, virtualization technologies, scripting languages for task automation, and system configuration automation software such as Puppet or Ansible. System integration and testing, and system configuration of networked services, file systems, and authentication experience. Excellent oral and written communications skills.
Experience in designing, developing, and maintaing development, test, and operational virtualized environments. Familiarity with any or all of the following, preferably in a satellite ground system context: Object-oriented development practices and processes, distributed computing technologies, web services, SOA, networking technologies, requirements management tools, scripting, automated test tools, modeling and simulation, and/or security certification and accreditation processes. Experience working with Windows and UNIX/Linux operating systems. Experience with distributed computing technologies. Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., Citrix XenServer Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization, and/or VMWare). Experience working in a customer environment and/or a classified military environment.
Must have an active Top Secret/SCI clearance
