Overview

Design and develop software in a team-oriented environment. Specific focus of development revolves around managing the process of migrating existing software running on stand-alone systems into customer cloud environments.  This involves creating, maintaining, and updating workflows associated with data collection, real-time project status dashboards, and automation of forms required to create migration artifacts and as well as provide virtual “functional test review” capabilities.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or related field

 

Required Skills:

Software design and development experience with service-oriented architectures to include web services, and JMS publish/subscribe messaging and distributed computing technologies. Experience working as a Java/J2EE or C++ programmer.
Solid foundation with object oriented development paradigm and understanding of the engineering life-cycle. Able to express yourself confidently, concisely, and accurately through written and oral communications.

 

Desired Skills:

Familiarity with any or all of the following: design methodologies, UML, development and CM tools, J2EE, SOA, web services, .NET, web development technologies and frameworks, Java application and persistence frameworks, Oracle and/or MySQL, database design and implementation, web services security, and/or peer-to-peer networking architectures.
