Overview

An Information Assurance engineering with at least 7 years of hand-on experience with DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), ACAS, DIACAP, SRR, Retina, Windows Automated Security Scanning Program (WASSP), and Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP). A background with Test and Evaluation including development and execution of test procedures in a classified environment. Familiarity with cross domain solutions  and associated Certification & Accreditation (C&A) to include documentation. Ability to diagnose and resolve or make recommendations to resolve any issues that occur.
Have IA training, certification maintenance, and continuing education necessary to meet Cyber Security Workforce (CSWF) requirements for a minimum of IAM and IAT certification level III as described in DoD 8570.01M.

Qualifications

Desired Education:

B.S in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering or a related discipline or equivalent experience. CISSP Desired.

 

Required Skills:

  • Experience working with UNIX/Linux operating systems
  • Experience using one or more scripting languages to automate repetitive tasks
  • Experience with developing and conducting security testing in accordance with NIST 800-53 Security Controls.
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Excellent teamwork skills, results oriented and self-motivated
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, positive attitude with good listening skills and high integrity
  • US Citizenship require

Desired Skills:

  • Experience briefing/working with Defense Information Assurance Security Accreditation Working Group (DSAWG)
  • Experience with Service Oriented Architectures (SOA)
  • Experience with virtual servers using VMware
  • Experience working in an agile methodology development environment
  • Experience working within a rigorous software engineering process
  • Experience with Test & Evaluation
  • Ability to anticipate problems and take decisive action
  • Ability to adjust personal style to different situations
  • Ability to work under pressure (at times) and to be extremely flexible under changing priorities

Security Requirement:

Candidate must have an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance
