As FSO, you will manage and coordinate security activities for our DoD customers. Tasks include, but are not limited to: continuous and annual training for all security related disciplines; in depth knowledge and understanding of COMSEC; supervise day-to-day security activities; interpret and enforce government and company security policies and provide direction and guidance; interface with DSS and government customers; provide prime/subcontractor security support and direction including the development and maintenance of DD254's; interpret and provide classification guidance to employees, provide security education and awareness, conduct security briefings, participate in self inspections and audits, and investigate security incidents. Support other security disciplines within FSO scope to include: Personnel Security, Physical Security, Information Security, Document Control and Visitor Control. Also, must be available to support after-hour needs (physical security, alarm response, traveling, etc.).
HS Diploma or equivalency required. Some college preferred. 3-5 years of security related experience. U.S. Citizenship is required.
Strong working knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), Department of Defense (DoD) Overprint, Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) and Industrial Security Facilities Database (ISFD), SWFT, e-QIP, DoD FSO Certification. Active DoD Top Secret Clearance is required.
Ability to communicate effectively and perform in a multi-tasked and dynamic environment. Strong writing and editing skills are desirable. This position requires independent judgment and discretion, as well as the identification, analysis and resolution of security-related matters. Strong leadership attributes and ability to work independently and as a contributing member of a team.
Must hold an active Top Secret security clearance
